This is about as close as it gets to the movie "City Slickers".  This is a really fun trip with some great guys. This was our 24th consecutive year to attend.  We have experienced hail storms, 70 mph winds, rain, floods, lightning, sunburn, heat stroke, 8 degree wind chills, 85 degree heat, torn up tires, strange objects falling from the sky through the skylight on the truck, drivers claiming they really were not asleep at the wheel taking exit ramps at 80 miles per hour and of course I can not leave out the enviromental protection agency.

I think this picture was made before there were cameras. It was taken in 1981 and we made it into the newspapers. Kind of looks like the FBI's most wanted.  Left to right are Gary Denson, Bruce Jackson, Steve Clark, Tom Medlin, Jerry Holder, and Mike Bruck. Temperature was about 20 degrees.
Taken about 1993. It was a little warmer but wet. Still had fun especially when Bob and Ed climbed the utility pole near the hotel and removed the light (just kidding)

Left to right are:  Billy Joe Bill Bob Massie, Chris Medlin, Ed Harrison, and Bill Chism.

Ariel view of the Hara Arena. There are about 3000 outside fleamarket spaces and maybe 1000 inside. You can walk for days and not see everything. The arrow marks our spot.
Ed "the Money Man" checking out the cash flow during the show. He now has enough money to buy 100 of those little hats that have a built in umbrella to take back home for souvenirs.
Two suspicious customers outside the booth. I better keep a close eye on these fellows.
