Prizes for the live W5KUB.COM webcast Aug 20-21, 2016
Huntsville Hamfest
Prize eligibility requires a user to be logged into the W5KUB.com chat room. User Name registration is not required for this event. Prize winners are selected by Hambot, a computerized random name selector program. When a winner's user name is chosen, the user will have one minute to claim their prize in the chat room. If not claimed within one minute, time will be called, and another winner will be chosen. The official time is that shown by hambot on the chat room. Any prize announcements on the video will not be used for the 1 minute timer. The video is not in sync with the chat room and could have upward to 45 seconds delay from the chat room. W5KUB will make the final decision regarding discrepancies. Everyone is asked to remain silent (don't chat) during the prize drawings. If you chat, you will probably be kicked from the room. Viewers will be notified when prize sessions are complete and chatting can resume.
Prize winners are required to immediately send a private message to Kathy via our chat room. The message should include your name, call (if applicable), mailing address (no post office box), email address, and prize. Prize winners with USA call signs MUST provide a USA mailing address for prize delivery. If not the prize will be void and not issued. W5KUB does not have any of the prizes and the winner contact information will be provided to the prize donor for shipment and any further communication should be between the winner and the donor. W5KUB gives no guarantees to the prizes actually being shipped as it is out of our hands and we must rely on the vendors who donated the prize. We have not had any issues with this since we have been giving out prizes.
In the case an incorrect picture or description was used, or any wording mistake in hambot, the prize that the donor intended, will be the actual prize that is sent to the winner.
Some prize donors have eligibility restrictions which will be listed below with the prize. W5KUB.com makes every effort to list prizes accurately but mistakes happen. W5KUB.com will not be responsible for typos or incorrect prizes, model numbers, description, picture, shipping restrictions, etc. All prizes will be awarded as the donor (vendor or distributor) intended. W5KUB.com is not responsible for non-shipment of a prize.
