Prizes for the live W5KUB.COM webcast
2019 Huntsville Hamfest
August 17 & 18, 2019 in Huntsville, Alabama
Prize eligibility requires a user to be logged into the W5KUB.com chat room. User Name registration is not required for this event.
Prize winners are selected by Hambot, a computerized random name selector program. When a winner's user name is chosen, the user will have one minute to claim their prize in the chat room. If not claimed within one minute, Hambot will call time, and another winner will be chosen. Hambot is the official time keeper. Any time announcements heard on the video/audio is not official. The video is not in sync with the chat room and could have up to a 45 second delay from the chat room. W5KUB will make the final decision regarding discrepancies. Please remain silent (no chatting) during the prize drawings. If you chat, you will probably be kicked from the room. Hambot will notify you when prize sessions are complete and chatting can resume.
Some prize donors have eligibility restrictions which will be noted with the prize.
W5KUB.com makes every effort to list prizes accurately but mistakes happen. W5KUB.com is not responsible for typos or incorrect prizes, model numbers, description, picture, shipping restrictions, etc. All prizes will be awarded as the donor intended. W5KUB.com is not responsible for non-shipment of a prize.
If you won a prize:
• Immediately send a private message to Kathy via our chat room. Do not log out of the chat room until Kathy acknowledges that she has everything needed for you to receive your prize. The message should include the name of your prize, your name, call (if applicable), mailing address (no post office box), and email address. Prize winners with a USA call sign MUST provide a USA mailing address for prize delivery. If not, you will forfeit your prize.
• Within 10 days after Hamfest we will send your contact information to the vendor/donor of your prize, and you will receive a copy of this message. The donor will ship your prize based on the contact information you provided to Kathy. It is your responsibility to report any errors to the donor ASAP. Any further communication should be between you and the donor.
• If you are required to pay for shipping, the cost and payment method will be provided to you in your email message.
