The Chatroom is  Chat.freenode.net/6667

We have moved to chat.freenode.net for our chat room.   You don’t have to have a registered name. Just enter the call or name you want to use and click connect.  If that name is in use then the system will automatically assign you a guest id.

 

To register a name in the chat room do the following

1. log into the chat room with the name you want to use
2. then do this command /msg nickserv register PasswordHere EmailAddressHere…  here is an example /msg nickserv register mysecretpassword Tom@myMail.com
3.  Check your email for the verification.  Follow those instructions.
4.  Now you have a registered name that only you can use. NOTE you must log in using it and password you selected.

To reset your password   do this command  /msg nickserv sendpass putyourEmailHere
